What is NAMUR Open Architecture?
In addition to the process control level, NAMUR Open Architecture opens up an additional communication channel within existing plants and thus provides easy access to plant data. The data is evaluated in read-only format, which enables efficient monitoring and process optimisation. The plant operator’s know-how remains fully protected, yet plant optimisation suggestions can be derived based on process information and the expertise of application partners (like equipment vendors).
